Glenmore AC Report – Feb 21st 2016
Operation Bushformation 2016 finished on the 13th of February with 5km and 10km runs at the track. A huge congrats to the dedicated participants who achieved so much & succeeded in reaching their own personal goals. Glenmore AC would like to thank all the coaches, helpers & members who gave of their time & energy to make this , the third year, of Bushformation such a success. On behalf of Glenmore AC & Bush School we would like to extend our thanks to all the participants who have supported Operation Bushformation & made it such a worthwhile programme.
Meanwhile senior members Shane Toner, Patrick White & Fiona Finan completed the Dune Half marathon with great times on the 14th February whilst Michael McShane achieved a PB in the 10miler the weekend before. Shane was out again last Sunday & came home first in the Forkhill 10km with club member Kevin Finn also participating in the event. Track & Field training has begun for juveniles every Tuesday & Thursday whilst senior nights are Monday & Wednesday. Our AGM will take place on Thursday 25th February at 8pm, we would encourage all members to attend. Our club is growing & we both appreciate & need your input.
