Weekly report – 18/4/2016

A successful weekend of running for Glenmore seniors started with the land of legends on Saturday morning. In the 10km Tadhg Leahy came home 2nd overall followed by club mates Lloyd Byrne, Katie bell, Laura Hoey and Anne McEvoy (1st vet lady). Next up was the half marathon with Shane Toner first overall followed in 2nd overall by Shane Lynch, Patrick white, John Kane, John Doyle and Stephen o Connor.

Saturday evening saw more Glenmore athletes who competed in the patsy Kelly 5km: Ciaran Walsh, Kinga Byrne, Michael McShane,Andrew Moore, Bridget McGreehan, Lorraine Gillespie, Melissa McCoy, Sheila McKevitt, Cathal Walsh and Tony Elmore. Gerry Stewart did the Phoenix Park 10k last weekend.

Well done to all and good luck to club members travelling to Madrid for the 10km and half marathon next weekend.
