Chairperson’s Address – Rose White

Dear Member,

On behalf of the committee , I would like to thank all of our athletes who are part of the 330 members which have made Glenmore AC the second largest athletic club in county Louth.

The commitment and dedication of athletes and coaches has helped us to compete at all levels in the Louth, Leinster’s and All Ireland’s and secured for us second place in the summer league.

To help maintain this level we ask that the members continue to commit to training and our wish for 2014 is that all athletes will compete at their level and do their club proud.

We are fortunate to have top class facilities , coaches and mentors whose wish is to see all athletes take part in competition when they have reached that level of fitness, whether its track & field or cross country. Our sport is inclusive of all, everybody can make a difference to the club.

The Fit for Life group has grown from strength to strength and has been a huge success.

Let’s support all our athletes and give them the encouragement to be part of the Glenmore club.

I would like to thank the committee for their invaluable support and hard work throughout the year.

At our last meeting it was decided a few new changes are going to be introduced to the club, please see rules and regulations.

On behalf of St. Vincent de Paul a big thanks goes to all of you who walked the Santa mile and raised €512

Finally on behalf of myself and the committee we would like to thank you for your ongoing support and we hope to see you all in 2014.

Yours in Sport

 Rose White
