Katelyn Quinn stepped up to the mark and represented the club at all Ireland level in u15 girls javelin last weekend. Well done Katelyn, she has improved tremendously in this field event over the last year and all her hard work has paid off. Meanwhile senior athletes were busy, Laura Hoey headed to Belfast to compete in her second half marathon, Kenneth Mcbride came first o50 in the dunleer 4 mile race whilst Vicky leahy went south to Kerry for the Brandon bay 10km on the beach. Juvenile and senior training at the track is ongoing with juveniles preparing for community games Whilst seniors are getting ready for our own annual Michael fearon and Kevin Marron 5km on August 7th.
