Cooley Legends

On a beautiful sunny Easter Saturday morn, 17 Glenmore senior athletes took to the hills for the Land of Legends 10 K and Half marathon. Congrats to the following who completed the 10k from the Long Womans Grave into Carlingford:  Patrick O’ Reilly (2^nd ) , Pat Ferguson, 6^th and John kane, 7^th, Gavin White, Karen Neary (3^rd woman home), Ann Marmion, Gabrielle Hanlon, Deirdre Woods, Linda Mullin, Joan Farnon, Millie Gray, Anne McEvoy and Rose White. Shane Toner stormed home 1^st in the half marathon followed by club mate Kenneth McBride (1^st over 50),  John Doyle, Ali McEnill & Emma Ives. Thanks to Johnny McCabe and organiser on a beautiful route. Glenmore AC are organising the Glenmore Challenge, a 10 mile run through Glenmore valley on June 14^th at 11am.
