James visit McArdle and Hannah Stewart won the individual cross country athlete of the year award in their age category. None of this would have been possible without the dedication of coaches Joan Stewart, Kenneth McBride, Pat Ferguson, Francis O’Reilly, Shane McGinn,Joanne McGinn, Barry Reilly. Thanks to them and all who encourage and support all athletes throughout the year.
Leinster Uneven Age Cross Country Championships
Several Glenmore athletes travelled to Adamstown for the uneven age Cross-Country on Sunday.
U11 Girls Anna McArdle, Laoise McElroy and Nicole Barry were all part of the Louth team who won bronze medals whilst U13 Girls Ciara Quinn, Maeve White, Aimee Farnon, Erin Gray & Lorna Keenan acquitted themselves well. Glen Stewart represented the club in U13 Boys and Tadhg Leahy & By Eoghan O’Connor ran strongly in the Boys U15 race. Hannah Stewart & Shauna McElroy Power won bronze Louth medals followed closely by club mates Chloe Barry & Lillian O’Reilly. Cormac Barry made the Louth silver team in the U17 Boys race. Following the long bus trip to Adamstown athletes were delighted to fuel up for a sumptuous meal in Watters of Ангина: Collon. Well done to all who represented the Club and County.
Training continues every cheap nba jerseys Tuesday and Thursday for Juveniles from 7-8pm. Fit for Life continues every Wednesday from 7-8pm at the track with another session, for a small donation for floodlights, on Monday nights from 7-8pm through the dark winter nights!
