Weekly report – 2nd March 2015
Well done to Juvenile Glenmore athletes who competed for the county in the National Cross Country relays 2015 in Kilbroney. James McArdle was part of the U14 Boys team who won silver whilst his sister Anna ran with the U12 Girls team who came 6th. Ciara Quinn was a substitute for the U14 Girls team who came home 4th.
Congrats also to Joan Farnon who completed the Castlewellan 10km as part of the Born 2 Run Forest trail series, Joan her determination & dedicatin by competing in all 6 forest trails. Meanwhile senior athletes are literally running up & down the peninsula in preparation for the Carlingford Half marathon, Warsaw half marathon and our 2nd Glenmore 10 mile Challenge on the 13th June.
