Glenmore AC committee, members & friends would like to extend our condolences to Chairperson Rose White & her family George, Micheal, Shane, Eoin, Maeve and her brother Sean on the death of their mother & grandmother, Mary O’Reilly before Christmas. Ni bheidh a leitheid aris ann.
On the 19th December Glenmore athletes took to the hills for the annual Pudding run in Carlingford. Shane Toner led the athletes home in 1st followed by Shane Lynch in 2nd place with Patrick White, Shane Arnold, Chris Connolly, Tadhg Leahy, Kinga Byrne, Joan Farnon, Laura Hoey & Vicky Leahy. Best wishes and a speedy recovery to Jude Quinn who sustained an injury during the run.
Members also turned out in force for the annual St Stephens Day Goal mile raising over 817 Euros. Well done to all.
The New Year has been busy with the Bush formation 6 week fundraiser which started on January 4th, 2016. Glenmore would like to thank all who are participating and those volunteers & club members who are giving of their time. We have had some really exciting visitors this weekend so watch this space for more.
Juvenile training continues every Tuesday & Thursday from 7-8pm. The All-Ireland B cross country has been postponed to January 24th at DKIT.
