Glenmore Report 26th May 2019
Glenmore’s u10 & u12 girls relay teams travelled to Greystones on Sunday 25th for the Leinster relay finals. Both teams qualified in fine form from their heats but we’re unlucky to finish in 4th place in the final against tough competition. Well done to the u10s Holly McCann, Gillian Tuohy, Aoife McDonald & Zoe White & to u12s Jessica White, Emma McCarragher, Grace Keenan & Katie McDonald.
Congratulations to Glenmore AC athlete Kevin Carolan 25:32) who earned himself yet another PB at The Windmill 5K run in Garristown Co Dublin on Saturday 26th May. Kevin is definitely reaping the benefits of his training and is going from strength to strength in each event he competes in, well done Kevin.
Our next annual event in our 50th anniversary celebratory year is ‘The Glenmore Challenge 10mile + 10k Road Race on Saturday 8th June. This promises to be a fantastic event and to mark the occasion we have very beautiful hand crafted medals for all finishers!!
