Louth Even Ages XC 2018
|Cross Country season kicked off on Sunday with the Louth even age’s event at Darver. Our juvenile athletes turned out in force. Molly Anne Moore led the U10 girls home in 3rd place and together with Zoe White, Sarah Duffy and Aine Finegan took the gold for their team. U12 girls tok silver team medal, Jessiaca White, Mia Ashby, Grace Keenan and Ellen Callan completed this team. Lisa Conlon took individual silver in the U14 event and together with Ava Brady, Claudia Mullen and Ava Ashby took the silver team medal. Zofia Mullen was second in the U16 event. The Boys U12 team of Elliot Nichols, Cian Magee, Luke Spain and Craig Tuohy took bronze for Glenmore. Well done to all who competed.
Congratulations to Glenmore Senior Athlete Peter Noone who took a massive 20 min of his previous course time, from last year, and crossed the finish line in the Irish 3 Quarter marathon in Longwood Co Meath in a fantastic time of 02:16:10 . Well done to the senior Glenmore Ladies and Men’s team for competing in the Louth cross country novice event in Darver.
