Community Games and Cooley Coast Run
|On a gorgeous, summer’s evening, the local community games were held at the Bush Track on Thursday May 15th. Congratulations to all the children who took part. Those who qualified will now proceed onto the County Finals in The Lourdes Stadium, Drogheda on Sunday 8th June. The All-Ireland Community Games Finals will be held on 22/24th August 2014.

Over 40 Glenmore Fit 4 Life athletes and several juveniles were out in force for the 10km and 12.5 km Cooley Coast run on Friday May 16th. All participants, both runners and walkers, enjoyed the well-organised run around the peninsula on a beautiful balmy evening with loads of supporters urging us on. It set the scene for our own Glenmore Challenge 10 mile race coming up on June 14th & brought it home to us what a splendid area we live in!

Training continues on Tuesday and Thursday nights 7-8pm for our juvenile athletes. Our ever-growing Fit4Life group meet at the track every Monday & Wednesday 7-8pm and on Sunday mornings for a mountain walk.
