|Juvenile athletes turned out in force for brilliant individual and relay performances at the Louth Setanta sports held at Bush Track. The following are the results of the Setanta Games held at Bush Track on Sunday 17th August.

Juvenile training is back up and running from Tuesday 19th August from 7-8pm. Usual training sessions on Tuesday & Thursday 7-8pm for athletes with “Fun on the Run” for 7 plus younger athletes on Tuesdays.

Meanwhile, Fit for Life and senior athletes were busy on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday Shane Toner came 2nd in the green 5km, Lordship with Tadhg Leahy, 8th followed by clubmates Laura Hoey, PB of 27.31, Vicky Leahy, Lorraine Gillespie and Sheila McKevitt. On Sunday Shane Toner was once again in winning form coming 3rd in the Duleek 10km whilst Paul Savage and Kenneth McBride both achieved PBs with 39.31 and 40.09 respectively. Kenneth was also 2nd in his category whilst Joan Farnon came in at 58 minutes representing the senior women. Well done to both juveniles and seniors, all the training is paying off. All are looking forward to the coming season.
