Leinster Championships – Adamstown

Congrats to Glenmore AC juveniles who travelled to Adamstown for the uneven ages Cross Country Championships on Sunday last. Laoise McElroy, Ava Brady, Kate Reilly and Caoimhe McBride represented the club in U11 race whilst Nicole Barry, Ciara Quinn and Ciara Carolan did the honours for Glenmore in the U13 race. James McArdle, Niall and Daragh Brady ran a tough race in U13 Boys whilst Maeve White, Katie Mallon & Ellen Barry togged out for the U15 event. The athletes were delighted to stop off in Collon for food after a mucky but good day out. Thanks to all parents, coaches, mentors and of course, Kevin, for getting everybody there and back safely. Laura Hoey represented the seniors in the Forkhill 10km amidst hills to equal the Glenmore 10 mile challenge!

A big thanks to Fergusons Bar, Gyles Quay for hosting our Quiz night and to all who participated and helped out on the night. The sandwiches and sausages were also much appreciated & a happy birthday to the quintessential quizmaster Tony Loughran.
